What is inside the gift box
- Morning Light, floral and light, from Ethiopia Guji.
- Huila Sunrise, caramel-sweet and medium, from Colombia Huila.
- Ember espresso, a medium-dark blend with hazelnut and orange.
- Dark Harbour, the darkest of the four, with cocoa and molasses.
- A brewing card with one simple recipe for each bag.
Every bag holds 100 g, enough for six or seven cups, so the box makes about 25 cups in total.
A present for a coffee lover
Tasting four bags side by side is the quickest way to learn what you like. The person who receives the box discovers whether they lean light or dark, and the card explains what to notice in each cup. It suits a birthday, a thank-you, a housewarming or the end-of-year holidays, and it works for beginners as well as for people who already own a grinder.
Whole bean or ground, roasted to order
Choose whole bean, or tell us how your friend brews and we grind all four bags to match. Everything is packed the day it leaves the roaster, with the date printed on every bag. It comes in a kraft box that needs no wrapping, and you can add a short handwritten note at checkout.
Sending the gift
We can ship straight to the recipient: prices never appear on the delivery slip. To keep the present going, a gift subscription of 3, 6 or 12 months follows on nicely, and the Ceramic V60 dripper is a good companion for someone starting out.
Roasted in Marseille, shipped within 24 hours
We roast on Mondays and Thursdays and ship within 24 hours of roasting, with the roast date printed on every bag. Order before 11:00 (Paris time) on a roast day and your bag leaves with that day's batch. Delivery in France costs 4.90 € and is free over 35 €; see shipping and delivery for the EU, the UK and Switzerland, and returns and refunds if a bag is not to your taste.
